Ballerina - Vik Tory

I have wanted to work with dancers for a very long time.  I finally got the opportunity to work with a very experienced dancer.  Her name is Viktoria and she was absolutely amazing to work with.  Here are a few images we created together.  I can't wait until my next opportunity to work with a dancer.  But finding one with the talent Viktoria has is rare.

Second shoot with Arielle

I knew from the first time that the potential to be great for this young model is very high.  From the first frame it was clear that in a very short amount of time Arielle had made great strides toward being great.  Here are a couple photos from our most recent shoot, I'm already planning ideas for another shoot with Arielle, she's a pleasure to work with.

Icon, hero, superstar

Our modern take on Marilyn.

Many thanks go out to Sophia for allowing me to capture her in the likeness of one of the most storied model in modern times ( Norma Jeane aka Marilyn Monroe ).

I'd also like to thank Heather who answered my call out for a MUA at 7am, the day of our shoot.  Heather I can not thank you enough for not only answering but doing a fantastic job helping Sophia and I create the likeness of a legend.

Sophia, you know the deal, call me anytime for a shoot.

Chocolate and Art Show - Atlanta

Here are a few shots from this weekends show.  I had a great time discussing and viewing the artwork of many local artists.

Lupita Nyong'o at the 7th annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon

I've not seen the movie (12 Years a Slave), I really want to but I'm worried about the discomfort I'll have with it's content.  That aside from the moment I saw this young lady the first words from my mouth was that she is stunning.  Now that I've seen her give a few speeches and on a few talk shows I'm getting a glimpse of who she is and what she's about.  As a result she's even more stunning to me.  Lupita is one gorgeous young lady and I'm looking forward to seeing her career blossom even more in whatever she does.  This is a speech she gave at the 7th annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon the days before the Academy Awards (Oscars).
